Recently, the Audi R8 was named as an instant classic by Edmunds' Inside Line according to The Auto Channel. The R8 is widely anticipated by a lot of performance enthusiasts in the United States and it is not surprising as the R8 is one of the most powerful production cars out there.
In the past, performance enthusiasts in the country have been aiming to create a better Audi by using performance enhancing components on their Audi A8. But nothing beats the real thing as the R8 makes it apparent that it has the right to bear the name of that 24 Hour of Le Mans-winning car.
Kevin Smith, Edmunds' editorial director had this to say about the R8: "The Audi R8 successfully extends the automaker’s model line beyond coupes and sedans into the realm of the pure fantasy machine.
